Kristin’s early studio was wherever she could find a surface: bedroom walls, thrift store tabletops, and neighbors’ "FREE" piles on the sidewalk. Formal supplies and stretched canvas were hard to come by, so she learned to make art out of whatever was on hand. She carries that same curiosity into her current studies in animation at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she’s diving into new technology, refining classical skills, and learning how to bring her work to life in motion.

Constantly exploring diverse media in her teaching, Kristin has never stuck to a single material or style. Her creative work spans everything from illustration to ceramics, engaging audiences from young children to adults.
